Dr. Muni served as the CEO of Azurity Pharmaceuticals, a commercial-stage pharmaceutical company focused on developing therapeutics for patients with high unmet need.Prior to Azurity, Dr. Muni served as the Head of New Product Planning and Corporate Strategy at Sunovion Pharmaceuticals. Prior to that, Dr. Muni was an engagement manager at the healthcare investment bank Leerink Swann. Prior to Leerink, he was a Medical Officer in the Division of Cardiovascular Devices at the FDA.

Internationally recognised expert in preclinical stroke models and collateral circulation physiology. Extensive publication record on cerebrovascular physiology and stroke.
Identified shear-stress as a novel therapeutic target for collateral enhancement, leading to a key collaboration with Professor Donald Ingber at Harvard University.
